Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains how GET2GETHERNOW LTD ("Get2gether", "we", "us") uses your personal data when you use the Get2gether app and get2gethernow.com. We are the data controller. Our company number is 15524299 and our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
If you have a question, email info@get2gethernow.com.
What we collect
When you apply and set up your profile
- Your email, name, date of birth and gender (your gender is not shown on your profile).
- What you do, the city you live in and other cities you visit often.
- Your Instagram and LinkedIn, and your photos.
- Your phone number and referral code, if you add them.
When you use the app
- Events and hangouts you host, join or request to join, and the messages you send in chats.
- Reports and blocks you make, and messages you send to Get2gether Support.
- Your area, which comes from your phone's location when you allow it.
- Your membership and purchase status. Apple and Google take your payment, so we never see your card details.
- Device and usage information, such as app version, crash reports and how you use features.
When you visit our website
- What you enter in the application, newsletter, brand enquiry and delete account forms.
- Cookies for advertising measurement, but only if you accept them.
How we use it
- To review your application and keep the community real and safe. A real person on our team reads every application.
- To run your account: your profile, events, chats, referrals and membership.
- To send you notifications by push, email and WhatsApp, for example when you are approved.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to act on reports.
- To fix bugs and improve the app.
- To send you welcome and member emails once you are approved, and our newsletter if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure our adverts, only if you accept advertising cookies.
We use your data because we need it to provide the service you signed up for, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping Get2gether safe and working well, because you gave us consent (newsletter and advertising cookies), or because the law requires it.
Who can see your information
- Other members see your profile: your name, photos, age, what you do and your area. They also see your messages and the events you host or join.
- Our team sees your application and anything you send to support.
- Service providers who help us run Get2gether, and only for that:
- Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage)
- Apple and Google (sign-in and payments) and RevenueCat (membership status)
- Firebase (push notifications and app analytics), PostHog (product analytics) and Sentry (crash reports)
- Branch (referral links) and Google Maps (places and addresses)
- Twilio (WhatsApp messages and phone checks), Resend (email) and Mailchimp (welcome and member emails, newsletter and brand enquiries)
- Meta (advertising measurement, only with your consent)
- The authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Our main database is hosted in London, UK. Some of our other providers store data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on the legal safeguards the UK requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When your account is deleted, we delete your profile, photos, events and chats. If you delete it in the app, this happens straight away. If you ask on our website, our team deletes it shortly after you confirm. We keep payment and tax records for 6 years, because UK law requires it, and safety reports for as long as we need them to keep members safe.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time. To do any of this, email info@get2gethernow.com.
You can delete your account yourself: in the app, go to Profile, settings, then Delete Account, or use get2gethernow.com/deleteaccount.
If you are unhappy with how we use your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you live in Singapore, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (pdpc.gov.sg).
Age
Get2gether is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
